<p><strong>Tests on rubber or rubber-metal components</strong> may require mixed and alternating stresses on different axes: for example, the execution of a torsion angle with the simultaneous imposition of a load on another axis, followed by a series of variable radial loads. The same part may have to be mounted inclined with respect to a stress axis for cardan type tests.</p>



<p>For this type of <strong>fatigue tests</strong> we create benches with an adjustable support for positioning the part to be tested and two linear actuators, or with a linear actuator and a torsional actuator in order to allow a biaxial testing.</p>



<p>Load and position transducers of the actuators allow to detect stresses and create diagrams with the measurements obtained.</p>

<p>This <strong>hotplate press</strong> is suitable for laboratory testing to determine the <strong>resin flow of carbon fiber-epoxy prepreg</strong> tape or sheet material. The flow of the resin is determined based on the decrease in the weight of the prepreg sheet at the end of the pressing.</p>
<p>The steel plates, between which the pressing takes place, are superficially hardened and contain the electrical resistors for heating up to 300°C of temperature. <strong>Thermoregulation</strong> is PID controlled (proportional-integrative-derivative) with autotuning/selftuning and with continuous surveying temperature displays.</p>
<p>It has a digital pressure gauge that instantly displays the pressure exerted with a precision of 1/10 bar.</p>

<p>CCM developed several servo-hydraulic systems for accurate and reliable <strong>FATIGUE TESTS</strong>, the actuators of our production are hydrostatic support, this special construction minimizes friction and allows to perform tests of high frequency up to 600 Hz. These performances make it possible that our machines are used in high standards laboratories to perform testing of materials and components used in advanced applications.</p>



<p>A <strong>fatigue test</strong>, to ensure long life of the materials in question requires high frequency equipment. A fatigue test of 109 cycles requires more than 7 months with a traditional test machine of 50 Hz. The same fatigue test takes only 19 days with a fatigue test system high-frequency 600Hz.</p>



<p>Our machines maintain a high-fidelity waveform while running at a high frequency. Depending on the requirements, we can provide systems with static load from 5 to1000 kN and <strong>standard waveforms (sine, ramp, square) or programmable block diagram</strong>.</p>



<p>The material test machines are a very versatile product that allows the characterization or the fatigue test in traction, compression or traction-compression of the parts that you want to test.</p>



<p>The system can be supplied with <strong>environmental chambers</strong> and used to determine the effects of temperature during the fatigue test.</p>

<p>Machines to perform <strong>tests on components of rubber or rubber-metal</strong> were specifically designed to detect and compare the static and dynamic characteristics (stiffness and damping) of the component under test.</p>



<p>When the component is put in real use conditions, applying a static preload or imposing a deflection, two types of tests are performed in sequence:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>from the execution of a test at low speed (static test), it detects the static diagram and from this we obtain the value of the static rigidity of the component conditions of use.</li><li>Through dynamic tests are detected, maintaining a constant amplitude of the sinusoidal excitation by varying the frequency, the dynamic stiffness and the phase shift angle between displacement and load, which identifies the damping value of the testing component.</li></ul>



<p>The detections are made using appropriate position transducers, of acceleration and load.</p>



<p>The operation frequency fields of this type of machines are essentially two:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>4 &#8211; 25/40 Hz with amplitudes of excitation ± 0.05 / 2.5 mm and</li><li>25-500 Hz with amplitudes of excitation ± 0.025 /0.2 mm.</li></ul>



<p>For special requirements, such as checking a motor support in <strong>resonance</strong> conditions, can be installed one inertial mass with variable weights which is applied a positive displacement transducer to allow detection of the excitation and the response of the resonant system consisting the inertial mass and the component under test. Other static machines for <strong>fatigue tests for vibration-damping</strong> can be made with two linear actuators or a linear actuator, and a torsional actuator so as to permit the biaxial testing (e.g. application of radial, axial or torsional load on a bushing).</p>

Are very versatile because the power hydraulic unit is separate and allows easy positioning of the actuator and are particularly suitable for tests involving very high levels of acceleration.</p>



<p>They also allow the <strong>measurement of accelerations</strong> in the point of application, because the moving actuator incorporates an accelerometer.</p>



<p>Moreover, if additional accelerometers are placed on the elements under test, then it is possible to obtain a <strong>study of vibration propagation</strong> (example: test in a railway carriage).</p>
